RxHealth is an independently owned and operated institutional pharmacy servicing the residents of Connecticut. It is the only institutional pharmacy centrally located in Connecticut. We provide customized pharmacy services specializing in the unique needs of the disabled, both children and the elderly. The goal of our pharmacy is to improve the quality of life of the population we serve.
Institutional Services
We provide professional pharmacy services to the residents of all institutional care settings in the long term care community including skilled nursing facilities, group homes, assisted living facilities, residential care facilities, hospitals, out-patient clinics, and schools. Our focus is delivering the most appropriate pharmaceutical care to the specialized needs of each patient as cost effectively as possible.
Consultant Services
Our experienced clinical team provides our facilities with the opportunity to improve the quality of care for their residents by working closely with them to review their drug therapy management. They review for potential interactions, duplicate therapies, poly-pharmacy issues, and regulatory compliance while trying to find alternate therapies, reduce the number of overall medications, cut costs and improve outcomes.

Non-compliance is one of the leading causes of missed doses and adverse events. Our custom packaging can help ease any confusion of multiple medications at multiple times to allow for simple administration of patients medications. These delivery systems ensure ease and accuracy for the health care professionals and ultimately the resident.
